Cape Girardeau native and Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder will join the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, March 3 in a performance of Aaron Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait.” The Lieutenant Governor will fill the role of narrator, reading some of Lincoln’s writings. Lt. Gov. spoke to Jacob McClelad about his role.

This coming Saturday, Habitat for Humanity will begin construction of a new home in Cape Girardeau. What makes this project different is that Habitat is trying to complete the home in just two weeks and is heavily focusing on volunteers from Southeast Missouri State University’s student body. Kerry Wallaert and Robin Cole discuss the upcoming blitz construction project.
