May is Historic Preservation Month, and historian Steven Hoffman is actively involved in Cape Girardeau’s preservation efforts in the downtown region. He’ll discuss some of what will be going on throughout the month of May with Southeast Missouri State University historian Joel Rhodes.

The Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra will head to China to perform at several prestigious venues, including the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and in Hangzhou. There will also be a collaborative performance with the Shanghai Normal University Orchestra and, weather permitting, an outdoor concert on the Great Wall.
