Even though Americans now have access to a wider range of media outlets, people still are not well-informed on news and current events. Attention is instead devoted to celebrity news and gossip. Amber Hannahs, a senior at Southeast Missouri State University, gave a presentation dealing with celebrity voyeurism as part of the Department of Communication's COMMrade's Fall 2007 Speaker Series. She spoke with Southeast Public Radio's Jacob McCleland.
