Sikeston mayor Mike Marshall has called for a "bridge summit" with infrastructure leaders from Missouri, Illinois, and Kentucky to discuss old and decaying bridges. The meeting, held on September 18, 2007 in Sikeston, was prompted by the Minnesota bridge tragedy in August. He spoke with SEPR's Jacob McCleland.
