Saving energy does not necessarily have to be an expensive endeavor. A household can greatly decrease its energy consumption by developing a few good habits.

In addition, some minor improvements such as insulating a hot water heater or a programmable thermostat, saves energy and reduces electric bills.

Eric Redinger will conduct a workshop entitled "A Convenient Reality" on Tuesday, November 6 at 6 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.
