In response to a growing concern about youth abusing substances including cough syrups and prescription medication, the Jackson R-2 School District has partnered with the Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition to provide information to parents. A panel of local professionals including law enforcement, a pharmacist and prevention, treatment and recovery programs will share their experiences with the drug abuses and offer suggestions to parents.
