College Access Partnership Award (CAP-A)
Value
Up to $1800 annually ($900 per semester)
Eligibility
- Successful completion of a designated College Access Partner Program or receive funding/scholarship from a designated Foundation or Organization Partner.
- A letter of recommendation from the Partner Program, Foundation or Organization.
- High school grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 or above.
- First generation college student and/or Pell grant eligible.
- Full admittance to Southeast Missouri State University.
Renewal
- Maintaining a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
- Completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester during your first semesters of Southeast enrollment, and 15 credit hours per semester during the remaining semesters.
- The funding provided may result in a reduction in loan awards, and may be adjusted if combined with other aid.
- A letter of recommendation from the Partner Program, Foundation or Organization verifying continuing participation.
- Filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so that it is processed by March 1st each year.
- Remaining in compliance with all University policies and procedures.

Educational Access Programs Matching Award (EAP-Match)
Value
Up to $2000 annually ($1000 per semester)
Eligibility
- Open to members of ethnic groups that are traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
- A high school GPA of 2.75 or above and an ACT score of 21 or above.
- Demonstrated financial need as documented on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Documented participation in leadership and community service activities during high school.
- Full admittance to Southeast Missouri State University.
Renewal
- Maintaining a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
- Completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester during your first semesters of Southeast enrollment, and 15 credit hours per semester during the remaining semesters.

- Documented participation in leadership and community service activities during high school.
- Full admittance to Southeast Missouri State University.

- Maintaining a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
- Completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester during your first semesters of Southeast enrollment, and 15 credit hours per semester during the remaining semesters.

- Acceptance into, participation in or pending acceptance into Southeast’s TRIO/Student Support Services or TRIO/McNair Scholars Program.
- Recommendation from the Director of Southeast’s TRIO/Student Support Services of TRIO/McNair Scholars Program.
- First generation college student and/or Pell grant eligible.
- Demonstrated financial need as documented on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Renewal
- Maintaining a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
- Completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester during your first semesters of Southeast enrollment, and 15 credit hours per semester during the remaining semesters.
