COURSE CURRICULUM
Students are required to complee 48 hours in the University Studies Program and 6 hours of General Electives. The major in social work requires 57 hours of course work including 51 hours of Professional Foundation Courses and 6 hours of Major Electives. In addition, students must complete 9 hours of Basic Knowledge and Comprehension Courses.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
The Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work is awarded to students who satisfactorily meet the following requirements:
- Students must fulfill all University graduation requirements listed in the Southeast Missouri State Undergraduate Bulletin.
- Studens must achieve a "C" or better in all required social work courses.
- Students must complete Field Education, i.e., SW 449 (integrative seminar), SW 450, and SW 451 with a minimum grade of "C".
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.25.
