Southeast Regional Support Center - Southeast Missouri State University campus - Cape Girardeau Parker Hall Room 204, One University Plaza MS 7650, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 Southeast Regional Support Center represents a partnership between the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse and Southeast Missouri State University. This agency is a resource center for the Community 2000 Initiative prevention program. The Center serves community coalitions in Cape Girardeau, Scott, Perry, St. Genevieve, Madison and Bollinger Counties. The Community 2000 Initiative is a grassroots approach to the crisis of substance abuse and its related problems including violence, teen pregnancies, child abuse and crime in communities. The Missouri Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse created the Community 2000 Initiative to empower communities to find solutions unique to their needs. The Center provides to communities many types of prevention materials and activities to enhance grassroots volunteer efforts. Workshops, presentations and materials about prevention provided to communities include the following topics:
