WHAT STUDENTS SAY:  "I really enjoyed the Community Counseling Center.  I was able to see all of the different areas of service at the Center.  I loved being able to put the skills I learned into use."

"Choosing to do my field education at Community Counseling Center was one of the best choices I could have ever made.  The field knowledge and experience I have gained in working with the mentally ill is invaluable.  The field instructor and staff at the Center are very dedicated to helping students become fully equipped social workers in every aspect.  Their combined knowledge  and experiences are there for the asking and much more prolific than any textbook.  The foundation that I have received at the Community Counseling Center will serve me well for any area of social work that I may choose to go into.  I learned about chronic mental illnesses, medications, and treatment planning all of which are essential tools in the social work field."

" The Clubhouse is a wonderful place to work. The staff is more than willing to help the students that go there for their field placement. Also, you learn a lot from the clients. Finally, the field instructor there is a great person to work with.  I give the clubhouse and A+ for field placement."

"My overall experience at the Clubhouse was amazing. I could not ask for a better placementt. I have learned so much from this experience.  It has not only made me a better social worker but a better person. The staff and the clients are very inviting and have always been there to help me get through this journey.  I will trul miss this place when I'm gone."

"I loved my placement at Community Counseling Center, Intensive In-Home Services.  The caseworkers, my task instructor and my field instructor were very open and helpful. The duties in this placement are very involved so be ready, however, it has renewed my love for social work! I really felt my opinion was valued in the client meetings and when talking with other workers in the office."
