WHAT STUDENTS SAY: “My overall experience at the Regional Family Crisis Center (RFCC) has helped me learn how to integrate all the skills, theories and ethics I learned from class into a real-life work setting. My supervisor and the staff at the RFCC were very helpful to me. Their “open door” policy helped me feel comfortable approaching my supervisor and other staff members with questions I had (I had about a million a day). Even so, my supervisor and the staff were quick to help me out if there was something I did not understand. Throughout this experience, I feel I have developed a better understanding of victims of domestic violence. With that understanding, I have learned effective ways to express empathy towards victims of domestic violence.” ****** "I gained a lot of experience at the Regional Family Crisis Center. I had daily interaction with clients and was able to work with them one-on-one. I feel this agency helped me prepare for my career and I will definitely use the experiences that I've had in the future."
