Poster Presenters

Preparation Instructions

Please deliver your poster to the UC Ballroom between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m.,Wednesday April 22nd, 2015. The posters will remain up the entire two days of the conference.

Posters should be constructed on a Poster Form Board--Your Poster should be at least 44" x 36" and your text and figures should be able to be read from a distance of 3'. Typically these boards fold in two places and enable the poster to be stood upright on a table---which will be provided in the UC Ballroom.

You are responsible for picking up your own poster from the UC Ballroom after the last PAPER session onThursday, April 23rd, 2015. (NOTE: It is the responsibility of every poster presenter to check the schedule, once it is posted online, to know when to pick up his/her poster)

Please be at the your assigned room 5-10 minutes before your session begins, and let your session chair know when you arrive. Make sure he or she knows how to pronounce your name and paper title. You will be speaking for 3-5 minutes about your project. When everyone presenting a poster has done so, questions may be fielded from the audience.

You are expected to remain standing by your poster and available for discussion for your entire poster session time.

Ask your faculty sponsor for advice on constructing your poster! Ask your faculty sponsor to listen to your short talk and give you constructive feedback.
