Career Linkages is ready to provide you with a career development plan that focuses on your future.  Development of your career plan can be a four-year process that engages you in meaningful experiences that enhance your ability to become marketable for the competitive global economy.  As you explore academic and career opportunities, use this guide to select activities that focus on your career goals.

Career advising is available to assist you with exploring options for majors and career opportunities within those majors.

A computerized career assessment provides you with the opportunity to explore or confirm your choice of major or careers.  This assessment is done using FOCUS, the Campbell Interest and Skills Survey (CISS) and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.  FOCUS is a computer-based exploration program that guides you through assessing your present career status, planning needs, values, skills and personality type to explore occupations compatible with your long-term aspirations.  CISS is used to identify the general areas and occupations you might consider based on your skills and interest.  The Myers Brigg Type Indicator assists you in choosing career options that best suit your personality preferences.

Career Linkages sponsors career events that include job fairs, panel discussions, presentations and seminars on career exploration and development topics. 

Career Linkages daily posts job listings for full-time, part-time and internship positions around the United States.  This job search is available for you to search job openings from Career Linkages’ network of businesses, government agencies, not-for-profit organizations and educational institutions.   

Selected companies and organizations conduct interviews in the Career LInkagesoffice.  These on-campus interviews are for full-time and internship positions.
