Southeast Missouri State University is concerned about your health and well-being. We have two centers located on campus that offer a variety of health awareness and educational opportunities for our students. These centers are:
Health Care
Southeast Missouri Hospital provides on campus health services. The Campus Health Clinic offers basic health care services such as physical examinations and lab tests. Appointments can be made in advance to see a nurse practitioner. The clinic is located in Crisp Hall and open Monday through Friday with walk-in clinic hours from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Counseling Services
Counseling services are provided at no cost to enrolled students. The counseling staff are licensed, professional counselors who are experienced in responding to a variety of personal and social issues as well as crisis intervention. University Counseling Services is located in Dearmont Hall and open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Fitness & Wellness
The Fitness and Wellness staff at Southeast provides structured and self-directed activities for fun, fitness, nutrition, stress management, socialization and encompassing the whole you. Take advantage of the many services listed below:
- therapeutic massage
- aerobics program
- personal training
- nutrition counseling and education
- CPR and First Aid training and certification
- health educational seminars
