Welcome to the Clinical Experiences website!
We hope that the information provided here will be helpful to all of the members of the student teaching triad – teacher candidates, cooperating teachers, and field supervisors – as well as our University faculty and other P-12 partners who might have questions about clinical experiences and student teaching. As the culminating experience in the teacher education program, student teaching provides candidates with the opportunity to blend what they have learned in the classroom and in early field and clinical experiences and put it to work in real-world situations as educational professionals. It will be a lot of work, but it should also be fun and rewarding!
The College of Education is proud of its long history of partnerships with P-12 schools in its service region. We are also excited about new initiatives, like co-teaching, that offer innovative ways for us to expand those partnerships for the benefit of our candidates, partners, and the students in our region.
While you are on our site, you might find such things as the Clinical Experiences Handbook, our Forms page, or the answers to our Frequently Asked Questions helpful. If you need information that you can’t find here, please visit our Contact Us page to let us know how we can be of further assistance.
