We encourage you to attend meetings and workshops before this day if it is OK with your assigned school.

Monday, August 22, 2011	Orientationᾰ9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Show-Me-Center
Tuesday, August 23, 2011	First day of first half of student teaching
Tuesday, October 11, 2011	Last day of first half of student teaching
TBD 2011	Regroup 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Required of Secondary Education Students Only)
Wednesday and Thursday, October 12-13, 2011	Make up day if needed.  Day off if not.
Friday, October 14, 2011	First day of second half of student teaching
Friday, December 16, 2011	End of second half of student teaching
TBA	Make up days if needed

 

IMPORTANT!
You may review a copy of the Student Teaching Handbook prior to Orientation on Monday, August 22, 2011, 9:30 a.m. in the Show-Me-Center. You can download a copy of the handbook from the Field Experiences Web site.  As questions arise during student teaching I encourage you to visit and review the material.

The Block IV Teacher Work Sample is to be completed the first eight weeks of student teaching.  It should be uploaded to Chalk and Wire (date to be determined).
