Spring 2011 Student Teaching Dates

We encourage you to attend meetings and workshops before this day if it is allowed by your assigned school.

Tuesday, January 18, 2011	Orientationᾰ9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Show-Me-Center
Wednesday, January 19, 2011	First day of first half of student teaching
Friday, March 11, 2010	Regroup 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Required of Secondary Education Students Only)
Tuesday, March 15, 2011	Last day of first half of student teaching
March 16 – March 17, 2011	Make up days if needed. Days off if not.
Friday, March 18, 2011	First day of second half of student teaching
Friday, May 13, 2011	Last day of second half of student teaching
Make up days will be added if needed.

IMPORTANT!
Please bring a copy of the Student Teaching Handbook to Orientation on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, 9:00 a.m. in Glenn Auditorium. You can download a copy of the handbook from the Field Experiences Web site.

The Block IV Teacher Work Sample is to be completed the first eight weeks of student teaching. It should be uploaded to Foliotek or Chalk and Wire (date to be determined).
