We encourage you to attend meetings and workshops before August 24 if it is allowed by your assigned school.  Many student teachers participate in the opening of school workshops before pupils arrive for the first day of school.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009	First day of first half of student teaching
Last Day for the 1st half Tuesday, October 20	Last day of first half of student teaching
Friday, October 23, 2009	Regroup 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Required of Secondary Education Students Only)
Wednesday - Friday, October 21 - 23 will be make up days if needed.	Make up day if needed.
Monday, October 26, 2009	First day of second half of student teaching
Friday, December 18, 2009	Last day of second half of student teaching
Make up days will be added if needed.

IMPORTANT!
Please bring a copy of the Student Teaching Handbook to Orientation on Monday, August 24, 2009, 9:30 a.m. in Glenn Auditorium. You can download a copy of the handbook from the Field Experiences Web site.

The Block IV Teacher Work Sample is to be completed the first eight weeks of student teaching.  It should be uploaded to Foliotek by the date provided at Orientation.
