Accounting majors complete the University Studies curriculum and a common core of business courses to broaden their perspective. Students have both required and elective courses in accounting to provide the technical skills and knowledge base to complete their academic preparation.  Students are strongly encouraged to complete an internship, practicum, or other experiential learning activity. For example, our accounting majors complete internships with accounting firms or not-for-profit organizations or in industry.
