Majors
Bachelor of Science in Biology (40 hours)

Options:
  • Biomedical Sciences – for students preparing to ultimately apply to a health professional school (medical, dental, optometry, chiropractic, etc.)
  • Microbiology, Cell, Molecular and Biotechnology – for students planning to do graduate work or obtain careers in the biotechnology field
  • Organismal, Ecological, and Evolutionary – for students planning to do graduate work in this area or obtain careers with environmental consulting agencies, zoological parks, botanical gardens or public health facilities.   
  • General Biology - this program is designed to provide students with the maximum amount of flexibility in their undergraduate course of study.
  • Wildlife and Conservation Biology - for students planning to do graduate work in this area or obtain careers with national and state conservation and resource management agencies, park services or environmental consulting agencies.

Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Biology major

Minors
A biology degree requires a minor. There are no restrictions on your choice of minor.
