Southeast Missouri State University

Facilities

The Department of Human Environmental Studies is housed in Scully Hall.  Scully Hall was started in 1968 and completed in 1971.  The four-story, 95,000-square-foot building includes many classrooms, laboratories, computer labs, study lounges, and a food cart area.

An Instructional Resources and Technology Lab is located on the third floor.  The lab contains many reference materials, computer workstations, video equipment and equipment for making instructional materials.

Dietetic students have access to the food laboratories located in Dearmont Hall, allowing you to learn first-hand skills in food selection and preparation. In addition, you have the opportunity to gain field experience in the University’s Hoover Eldercare Center and the Center for Child Studies.
