Accreditations The Engineering Physics program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, which is the sole accrediting body for engineering programs in the United States (for more information, visit www.abet.org). This means that graduates of this program are able to enter immediately into graduate programs in physics and engineering. They are also able to take the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, which is the first step toward becoming a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri. After four years of creditable engineering experience, they are then eligible to take the Practice of Engineering Exam, which leads to an official license to practice engineering. |
