  • The Department of Management and Marketing is housed in the Donald L. Harrison College of Business, one of the finest colleges of business in the Midwest, serving more than one-third of all declared majors in the University.
  • The college is accredited by AACSB-International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), placing it in the top 25 percent of business programs nationally.  
  • With prestigious national accreditation and an outstanding faculty with a foundation in contemporary business practice, the Harrison College of Business serves students with high-quality programs and the support systems essential for their success.
  • The Harrison College of Business is housed in Robert A. Dempster Hall, a state-of-the-art facility designed to promote student learning and professional success.  The building contains a rich array of hands-on business and instructional technology, all digitally connected to the world. 
  • Southeast business students receive hands-on training, including business internships with major corporations and industries.  
  • As a Southeast student, you will receive lots of student attention.  The student-faculty ratio at Southeast is 17 to 1.  The Donald L. Harrison College of Business has nearly 50 full-time faculty; over 90 percent have a doctoral degree.  Ninety-eight percent of courses are taught by experienced practitioners with specialized knowledge.
  • Courses are scheduled to allow full-time students completion of their undergraduate degree in four years or less.
  • The current job placement rate among business majors is currently 99 percent within a year of graduation.  
  • The Harrison College of Business offers a 33-credit hour Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree program.  Southeast’s B.S.B.A. degree program provides the prerequisites for admission into the M.B.A. program.
