The Technology Management option is specifically designed for students who have earned accredited Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees in technically-oriented programs and desire to complete a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Technology Management. In addition to credit for the transferable general education courses completed at the community college, students will also be awarded up to 34 hours credit for the approved technical transfer courses from their A.A.S. degrees.
In addition, this option is available to students who have three years of related work experience and a recognized national certification or exam score. These students submit a portfolio to the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology to be reviewed/approved by the faculty. To complete the B.S. degree, students will meet their remaining University Studies requirements and the Technology Management required core courses. In addition, with the help of an advisor, students are required to take MA139 (Applied Calculus) and will select 21 credit hours of upper-level technical electives to build upon the skills gained through the AAS degree.
