Facilities

The Department of Political Science, Philosophy and Religion is housed in the historic Social Science Building renamed “Carnahan Hall.”  The building was constructed in 1901-1902, and restored to a modern facility during 1993-1998.  The building is named after the late Congressman and U.S. Ambassador Albert Sidney Johnson Carnahan, who was a distinguished Southeast alumnus and father of the late Gov. Mel Carnahan.
