Why Should I Study Pre-Chiropractic at Southeast?

Pre-Chiropractic is not a specific degree or major, but a pre-professional program that prepares students for chiropractic school. This program can be taken in conjunction with any four-year degree program. Most students in the pre-chiropractic program earn a bachelor of science degree in biology, chemistry or interdisciplinary studies.

  • Southeast has developed good relationships with our community’s healthcare professionals and our two local hospitals. These ongoing relationships will help you build professional contacts and will provide you with numerous opportunities to gain first-hand experience through volunteering, part-time employment, internships and shadowing.
  • The Southeast Student Medical Society gives you the opportunity to further your knowledge and explore your interests in the medical field through monthly programs and activities with other students and healthcare professionals.
  • Students in Southeast’s pre-chiropractic program enjoy small classes and a low student-faculty ratio. Our faculty members are at Southeast because they are committed to offering you the faculty involvement and interaction that can’t be found at larger, less personalized schools.
  • As a pre-chiropractic student, you will have the opportunity to work with faculty conducting research, thus further developing the knowledge and skills you will need to advance in the field of chiropractic medicine.
