Courses & Curriculum University Studies (general studies) = 48 hours These courses should be taken in conjunction with a four-year degree program. Pre-medical students need to be advised by a pre-medical advisor early in their program. The pre-medicine program of study is designed to prepare students to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) and to meet course requirements at specific medical schools. Since admission requirements vary among medical schools, students are encouraged to obtain admission information from the institutions to which they plan to apply, and discuss these requirements with a faculty advisor. Pre-Medicine Program Curriculum:
Chemistry Courses: (23 hours)
Physics Courses: (10 hours)
Mathematics Courses: (5 hours)
Other math options: MA139 Applied Calculus, MA140 Analytical Geometry & Calculus I. |
