Why Should I Study Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Southeast?

  • Pre-Veterinary Medicine students at Southeast are provided with outstanding facilities and computer technology, an excellent internship program and numerous hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Southeast students enjoy a successful admission rate into vet school; over 90% of those who apply are accepted.
  • The Department of Agriculture is committed to providing a variety of hands-on learning opportunities for students majoring in agriculture.  Students may work at the University’s Demonstration Farm or with individual faculty members on projects. 
  • The Department of Agriculture sponsors a Pre-Vet Club. It offers experiences to help bolster pre-vet applications, opportunities to develop leadership skills, as well as social activities.  By actively participating, you will make lifelong friends, as well as establish contacts that will benefit you throughout your career.
