As a student in Southeast’s education program, you will receive a full semester of on-the-job student teaching experience.

Majors

Art Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach art in grades K-12.

Business and Marketing Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach business education in grades 9-12.

Biology Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach biology in grades 9-12.

Chemistry Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach chemistry in grades     9-12.

English Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach English in grades 9-12.

Family and Consumer Sciences Education (BFCSE) – A graduate will be qualified to teach vocational family and consumer science courses to levels birth thru 12th grade.

French Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach French in grades K-12.

German Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach German in grades K-12.

Industrial Education
(BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach technology/industrial arts in grades 9-12.

Spanish Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach Spanish in grades K-12.

Mathematics Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach math in grades 9-12.

Music Education (BME) – A graduate will be qualified to teach music (instrumental or vocal) in grades K-12.

Physical Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach physical education in grades PK-12.

Physics Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach physics in grades 9-12.

Social Studies Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach social studies in grades 9-12.

Speech Education (BSED) – A graduate will be qualified to teach speech education in grades 9-12.

Unified Science Education (BSED) with emphasis available in biology, chemistry and physics education – a graduate will be qualified to teach their area of emphasis in grades 9-12 as well as lower-level unified science courses.
