• Southeast’s Sport Management program is the only one in eastern Missouri, and one of very few in the entire state.

• Our sport management major features curriculum that is devoted to sport-specific management and business courses. Such dedicated curriculum is rarely found in other sport management programs, as many focus on only physical education or business rather than the more appropriate combination of both fields.

• Southeast Missouri State University has the advantage of being located between two major cities, St. Louis and Memphis, each having multiple professional sport organizations. Our prime location will give you increased opportunities for exciting internship and career prospects.  

• Students interested in intercollegiate athletics have the opportunity to gain experience in the university’s NCAA Division I athletics department through a sport management practicum.
