Overview:
As a psychology major at Southeast, you will have extensive opportunities to collaborate with faculty conducting psychological research. These opportunities will provide you with credentials such as scientific publications and presentations, prepare you for graduate programs, offer you significant intellectual and social involvement beyond the classroom, and further your development of essential skills needed in the field of psychology.
Southeast’s psychology program offers you practical experience through internships in professional psychology settings, including mental health facilities, hospitals, human service agencies, and various local businesses. These experiential learning experiences give you the opportunity to develop your new skills in the profession of psychology.
