Hospitality Management

Overview:

Hospitality management involves the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of human and material resources within the lodging, restaurant, travel and tourism, institutional management, recreational management and meeting and convention planning industries.

As a hospitality management student at Southeast, you gain experiential learning through the hospitality management internship.  Hospitality management students participate in a 12-credit internship program that allows the student to develop an exposure, understanding and working knowledge of actual operations within the hospitality industry. The work experience assists the students in identifying opportunities for permanent employment upon graduation.
