Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (B.A.) 124 Hours (minor required)

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts (B.F.A) 124 Hours
*The degree requires 124 credit hours for graduation (76 credits within the major-and no minor is required).

Options:

  • Design/Tech: A student who chooses this option will be prepared for professional competence in one or more of the areas of costume design, lighting design, sound design, scenic design or stage management.”

  • Dance: A student who chooses this option will be able to focus on choreography and advanced training in various dance techniques, including contemporary, ballet, jazz and world dance.

  • Theatre Performance: A student who chooses this option will be able to concentrate on in-depth Stanislavski-based acting and/or directing technique training as well as competence in one or more of the following areas: combat, movement, performance studies or voice.
     
  • Musical theatre: A student who chooses this option will focus on  singing, acting, and dancing—the “triple threat.”
