The Last Concert

We performed our final concert of the 2009 China tour this evening at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. Tomorrow we get to sleep in a bit before we return to Shanghai. We are very pleased with our performance tonight and wish you all could have been with us here.

The Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra performs 'River' by Dr. Robert Fruehwald at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. Dr. Fruehwald composed 'River' specifically for the Symphony's 2009 China Tour and we have performed the work at all four of our concerts given in China. Flautists Tanesha Reeves and Paul Thompson give bravura performances as our soloists. |
