ACT and Residual ACT
The ACT is America's most widely accepted college entrance exam. It assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.

- Application deadlines are strictly enforced by ACT.
R-ACT (Residual ACT Assessment)
Testing Services administers the Residual ACT based on the procedure and guidelines provided by ACT, Inc. However, test dates are scheduled through Testing Services. Testing Services will also score the Residual ACT after completion and provide a score report to the individual. The individual's score report is the property of Southeast Missouri State University and is not transferable to any other institution.
The testing fee of $50.00 is payable to Southeast Missouri State University and can be made the day of the test.

Candidates should report to the testing location 15 minutes prior with a photo ID. Calculators are allowed on the math portion of the exam. Please see ACT's website for more information on the types of calculators that are prohibited.
