DANTES (Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support) originally set up to help armed service personnel obtain credit for knowledge and skills acquired through non-traditional educational experiences, is now available to all U.S. universities. DANTES Subject Standardized Tests are avilable thorugh Thompson Prometric - DSST. The cost of the exam is $100. Two separate payments are required, $80 that must be paid by credit card to DSST and $20 to Southeast Missouri State University, payable by cash, check or credit card. Active military personnel, veterans and military spouses may be eligible for DANTES-funded CLEP exams. DSST Exams are administred online at Southeast Missouri State University, Testing Services, Academic Hall Room 347. Please contact Testing Services to set up an appointment, (573) 651-2836. Two photo IDs are required.
