Miller Analogies Test

The Miller Analogy Test (MAT) is a high-level mental ability test requiring the solution of problems stated as analogies. Preformance on the MAT is designed to reflect candidates' analytical thinking, an ability that is critical for success in both graduate school and professional life.

Testing Services offers the MAT on an appointment basis. It is approximately one-hour long. The testing fee is $90. You can contact Testing Services at (573) 651-2836 to register for the MAT or stop-by Academic Hall Room 347 to pick up a Candidate Information Booklet.

Two forms of identification is required. Acceptable identification include:

  • Driver's license
  • School identification card
  • Government-issued identification card or passport

Secondary ID

  • Credit card (with or without a photograph)
  • Library card
  • Utility bill with the name and address appearing exactlu the same as on the primary form of ID

If retaking the Miller Analogy, you must bring the Retest Admission Ticket at time of appointment.
