The Lab Theatre is the primary space for student scene work, Directing and Acting class work, and student-produced performances. The Lab Theatre is a 30’ x 20’ “black box” space located on the first floor of the Grauel Building. The space can accommodate approximately 80 audience members for performances.

The Lab Theatre is designed as a small classroom, rehearsal  and performance space for student work. Acting and directing classes are taught there and performance projects are presented regularly. It is a “bare bones” space conducive to creative use of minimal technical resources.
