David Foster, M.F.A. Dave Foster comes to Southeast by way of Indiana, where he received his MFA in Technical Direction and Scenic Technology from Indiana University. He earned the Gary Geiser Award during his time there for technical innovation as a result of his thesis work entitled "A New View on an Old Lift." Prior to that, he spent four years working for Actors Theatre of Louisville as their Lead Carpenter. He received his BA in Theatre Arts from Virginia Tech in 2001. He has worked at The Denver Center of Performing Arts, The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Georgia State Musical Theatre Festival at Jekyll Island, and the Raleigh Memorial Theatre. |
