History: Completed in 1996, this $15.8 million building continues to be a state-of-the art environment designed to allow students to experience the finest in technological instruction and to receive programs and instruction from around the world via satellite technology. The building provides an ergonomic, efficient and beautiful atmosphere for learning today’s latest business tools.

Building Use:
Dempster Hall is home to the Donald L. Harrison College of Business. The Harrison College of Business includes the departments of Economics and Finance, Marketing and Management, and Accounting and Management Information Systems. With interactive television and satellite systems plus technology packages in each classroom, Dempster Hall is used for a wide variety of campus programs and workshops hosted by the University, various businesses, and the community. 

This three-story building totals over 100,000 square feet and includes ten classrooms, 7 microcomputer labs, over 450 fully networked computers, the 400 seat Glenn Auditorium, 3 general seminar rooms, 3 student lounges and 2 fully-mediated interactive television rooms.

Fun Fact: The Harrison College of Business offers over 30 study abroad opportunities to students of any major at Southeast.  Students have visited Cuba, Europe, Mexico and Malaysia.
