Otto and Della Seabaugh Polytechnic Building

History: The Otto and Della Seabaugh Polytechnic Building is a state-of-the-art facility which was completed in 2001.  The 60,000 square foot building has the finest classrooms, laboratories and equipment in an ergonomic setting designed to promote student learning.  

Building Use:
The School of Polytechnic Studies, located within the Seabaugh Building, has been recognized as a Missouri Center of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology and has programs accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology.  The School of Polytechnic Studies houses the departments of Industrial Engineering Technology and Agriculture.  The Department of Industrial Engineering Technology includes majors in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Industrial Education and Computer Technology.  The Department of Agriculture includes majors in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Pre-Vocational Agricultural Education.

Fun Fact:
The School of Polytechnic Studies is recognized as the state model for 2 + 2 transfer of technology degrees from community colleges. The school provides high-tech education and specialized training to meet the needs of the region.
