The first three sessions in this course will review concepts relevant to the CAP exam. The final session will review concepts relevant to the OM specialty. This is a review session, and participants in this course should also be studying on their own to ensure success on the certification exam.

Social Media and Brand Training

The University Communications and Marketing team invites all faculty and staff to attend their upcoming Social Media & Brand Training. This training will prepare all attendees to be effective brand ambassadors for Southeast Missouri State University by introducing them to the Will To Do brand, key messages, brand personality and creative examples of the brand at work. This training will also teach attendees how to use social media platforms effectively to represent their department/office and the Southeast brand well. While both trainings are not required, all attendees are strongly encouraged to attend both parts. There will also be time for attendees to ask questions and have them answered by University Communications and Marketing staff.

Student Employment Supervisor Training

Supervisors new to the university should attend the new supervisor training where we will go over federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations of employing student workers. Supervisors new to the university should also attend one of the Update sessions to learn how to complete the necessary paperwork for hiring a student worker.

Student Employment Supervisor Training-Update Sessions

Our update sessions are available to all current supervisors, time approvers or Administrative Assistants who complete student employment paperwork. Federal Regulations concerning hiring paperwork has changed quite a bit over the last few years. Attend this session to get a quick overview of the student employment process to make sure your department stays in compliance. It is highly recommended that at least one person from each department attend this training.
