Microsoft Office Specialist Testing Workshop

Participants:

This series is designed for employees who have the desire to learn more about Microsoft 2016.  Participants will be eligible to take the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification test.

Prerequisite:

Attendees should be familiar with how to use a Windows base computer and should be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM.  Also, all attendees must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.

Our interactive PowerPoint 2016 certification program provides candidates with performance-based scenarios to measure their ability to manage essential, day-to-day tasks.

Outlook Workshop

Candidates will expand and prove technical skills by demonstrating how to customize the Outlook user interface format message content, create or insert graphic elements, and send and respond to emails and meeting requests. They can also manage and share multiple calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, create contact records and tasks, and set up contact groups to facilitate communication with other Outlook users.

This workshop will review core concepts covered on the MOS Outlook 2016 exam that include (1) managing the outlook environment, (2) manage messages, (3) manage schedules, and (4) manage contacts and groups.

Access Workshop

The new Access 2016 certification exam uses practical, performance-based scenarios to evaluate their real-world capabilities with project and standards-based outcome testing.

This workshop will review core concepts covered on the MOS Access 2016 exam that include (1) creating and managing a database, (2) build tables, (3) creating queries, (4) creating forms, and (5) creating reports.

*FOR THOSE WHO ARE USING THIS TRAINING FOR CAP/CAP-OM RECERTIFICATION POINTS*

Per a conversation with IAAP, the MOS training workshops do count for CAP-OM recertification points. Each hour of workshop is equal to one point (for example:  three workshops = 6 points).  Additionally, from page 11 of the IAAP exam handbook, each MOS certification obtained is worth 5 points.  So for example, if you complete perfect attendance during the workshop and pass the certification test, you will receive 11 points.  Keep this email PDF and training certificate with your recertification package.
