Diversity Awareness
Diversity Awareness Training is being held this spring as an optional training for any University employees that would like to attend.
Join us as we learn about the four main aspects of diversity in the workplace-stereotypes, similarities, unity and benefits—by listening to the stories and thoughts of characters who actually live and work in a diverse world. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their own feelings regarding stereotypes, ethnicity, and personal biases.
We’ll also learn about disrespectful behavior and how to correct it. Using the seven common sense guidelines, we’ll discuss issues of respect in a diverse workplace. Please register in advance at https://www3.semo.edu/registration/homepage.asp
