Delain Stafford is a communication specialist for University Relations.  Her job encompasses writing news releases and researching for, writing and updating the Southeast Missouri State University's Website content. 

“My favorite aspect of the job is interviewing and writing about interesting people or events around campus,” she says.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Okla., Delain received her Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma City University.  She has been with Southeast for four years.  She says she enjoys the flexibility of her job because it allows her to stay involved in professional activities and to spend extra time with her two daughters. 

In addition to spending time with her family, Delain enjoys traveling, hiking, reading and photography.
