“One could call me the resident historian,” says Juan Crites about her 30 years at Southeast Missouri State University. “I have grown up, literally, with the University,” she says, “through the good times and bad, I have been here.”

As the director of Public Services and Publications, Juan works with faculty and staff to coordinate recruitment publications and print advertising for the University.

A Cape Girardeau native, Juan received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri Columbia and a Master’s of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University.

When not developing publications for the University, Juan enjoys spending time with her husband, Rick and her cat, Rus. She also likes to travel or go boating, and always loves to see her twins playing any of the several sports they’re involved in.
