The News Bureau directs both the internal and external communication of news at Southeast Missouri State University. The department communicates news about University issues and events and the major accomplishments of University faculty, staff and students to regional and national media outlets and serves as a liaison with radio, television, print and interactive media throughout the University's service region. This may involve the production of news releases/feature stories, facilitating expert interviews, communicating with reporters from throughout the region, writing and distributing the electronic Southeast Newswire and organizing University news conferences.
