What is RedDot? Why do we need to use it?

RedDot is a “content management system” which allows a centralized process for building and deploying content for the Web. It is designed specifically for large organizations, like Southeast, who are interested in providing a Web presence to dozens of constituent units while also maintaining a unified appearance throughout these small sites so that they all still represent the larger organization as well.

It is a strategic initiative of Southeast to improve communication with external audiences and provide a positive user experience for anyone interested in any aspect of the University. By providing a consistent design experience across all university units Southeast can maintain a Web presence that is professional and easy to navigate.
