These are unique, small events designed to help employers connect with  SEMO students.

Employer tables will be placed 6 feet apart, and will allow for one employer representative at each table. All tables will be sanitized before and after each session. Masks are required. Student traffic will be controlled, and social distancing guidelines will be implemented.

For-Profit/Non-Governmental - $200
Non-Profit/Governmental - $100
Registration fees may be paid online.  Electronic payments will automatically receive an email receipt.

Virtual Recruiting/Webinars

We will create a unique virtual space for employers to present their information on a selected date/time, then have the opportunity to interact with students and faculty. This will be facilitated via Zoom. All attendees will be muted for the first 15-20 minutes of the employer's presentation, and then the virtual floor will be opened for questions. Information about students in attendance will be sent directly to the employer for follow-up.

For-Profit/Non-Governmental - $100
Non-Profit/Governmental - $100
Registration fees may be paid online. Electronic payments will automatically receive an email receipt.

If you will be paying by check, an invoice will be emailed to you when your registration is received, and a receipt will be emailed when payment is received. If you require special payment accommodations, please email Amy Aldridge at aaldridge@semo.edu.

Payment, Cancellation, Refund, No Show, & Inclement Weather Policy

Receipt of Payment

Registration fees are due 10 business days prior to the day of the event. If payment is not made by this date, your registration will be canceled. An organization registering late (less than 10 days prior to an event) will incur a $25 late registration fee.

Cancellations/Refunds

Cancellation requests should be sent via email to Amy Aldridge, Employer Relations Specialist, aaldridge@semo.edu using the refund policy listed below:

  • Up to 10 Days before the event: Once payment is made, a full refund will be granted if cancellation is requested via email by 5 pm (CST) 10 business days prior to the event.
  • Less than 10 Days before the event: All cancellations after the 10 business day deadline will receive a refund of 50% of the total amount of registration fees paid up until the day of the event.
  • Day of Event Cancellations: All cancellations on the day of the event will forfeit a refund. Please note, that organizations with outstanding fees will not be permitted to attend future career events until their account is paid in full.
No Shows

Upon receipt of registration and fee payment, an organization is expected to participate in the event. Registered organizations that “no show” on the day of the event and fail to notify the Office of Career Services of cancellation will not receive a refund or be credited for a future event.

Inclement Weather

If Southeast Missouri State University has announced a closure on the day of an event due to inclement weather, the Office of Career Services will decide if the event will continue by no later than 7:00 am on the day of the event. Should inclement weather prevent an event from occurring, the Office of Career Services will attempt to reschedule the event.

  • If a registered business or organization chooses to participate on the rescheduled date, all fees and cancellation policies will apply.
  • If the organization chooses NOT to participate on the rescheduled date, a 100% refund will be granted.
  • If an event cannot be rescheduled, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded to all registered organizations.

Companies and organizations who are unable to attend an event due to inclement weather in their area will receive a refund of 50%.
