Fall Wait Lists Review Dates:

  1. 2nd week of May

  3. 2nd week in July
  4. 3 - 5 business days before classes start

 Spring Wait Lists Review Dates:

  1. 1st week of December
  2. 1st week of January
  3. 3 - 5 business days before classes start

Summer Wait Lists Review Dates:

  1. 3rd Week of March
  2. 3rd Week of April

2nd 8-week classes - All semesters: 

Review 3 - 5 business days before classes start. 

If you have extenuating circumstances for a waitlist request, please email lgcallahan@semo.edu from your Southeast email address and provide the following information:

  • First and last name
  • S0 number
  • Course number and section
  • Planned graduation semester and year
  • Major and minor
  • Advisor
  • Detailed explanation about why you need the class

Wait lists close on the first day of classes, after this time contact the instructor. The instructor will decide to add a student, subject to the department chair's approval. 

If you are offered a seat from the wait list and do not enroll within 48 hours, the seat is offered to the next student. You may re-enroll in the waitlist.
